You are cordially invited to become a member of IFPTE

Dear prospective new member

If you are interested in being a part of something that has a positive impact on your life, then we are what you're looking for.  We are engineers, technicians, scientists and other professionals just like you who are dedicated to ensuring our working environment is retained and improved.  Our GOAL is to protect your rights and improve the quality of your life, while protecting your job.  We are your ADVOCATE when speaking to Management, Human Relations Office, and other outside interests. We negotiated alternate work schedules and time-and-a-half, and are working toward enhancing your education.

Are you a new employee?  If you are, do you know what your rights are? Have you been told about OUR Collective Bargaining agreement?  The Employer and the Union negotiated the Agreement for you.  You need the backing of your union to ensure your rights are not violated.  With the advent of the National Security Personnel System, we anticipate turmoil and trouble.  Don't be alone.  Please consider becoming a member of Local 12 and let us help you in whatever comes your way.

If you are not a new employee and have been working here longer than a few years, answer these questions:  Do you feel as if you have no control over your work life?  Do you live with the fear of losing your job?  Do you have a desire to be a part of something that benefits not only you but also many others?  If you said "YES" then please consider becoming a member of Local 12.

THE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVES OF LOCAL 12 ARE DEDICATED TO YOU.
WE ARE WORKING HARD FOR YOU AND WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!
