Local 12 is promoting union awareness on the Shipyard.  One way this can be accomplished is to wear a shirt with the Local 12 logo on it.  Local 12 has partnered with a local Port Orchard merchant to have our logo stitched on polo style shirts.  Local 12 has selected the shirts below for purchasing with a logo on it.  The price for one of these shirts is $38.00 for a man's style and $36.00 for a women's style.  The shirts shown below are all made in the USA.  If you don't want to purchase one of these shirts, but would still like to wear a shirt with the Local 12 logo on it, you can take a shirt to this merchant and they will stitch it on for $14.00.  The only requirement is it has to be a new shirt, never before worn.

If you would like to order one of the shirts below, please contact Local 12's office manager, @ 6-4334 or e-mail John King at john.e.king2@navy.mil with the style and size you want to order.  When it comes in you will be notified.  You can pay for the shirt when you pick it up at the Local 12 office (Bldg 850, 3rd floor).  A check made out to IFPTE Local 12 is preferred.

If you want to use your own shirt, you will have to make those arrangements with the merchant doing the logo work.  The name of the company is EmbroidMe and they are located at 1948 SE Lund, Port Orchard (360) 874-1376.

As a bonus, when you where a shirt with the Local 12 logo on it to the General Membership meeting, you will get a free soda to go with the free pizza.
