It's my privilege to serve as President of IFPTE, Local 12. Officially,
I am assigned to the Engineering & Planning Department, Code 200.
My Federal career started when I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1974
where I served onboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) as a Hull Tech (HT).
I started my civilian career at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1978
as a production Pipe fitter helper in Shop 56. I worked and advanced in this shop
for fifteen years after which I was promoted to a technician in C/260 of the Engineering
& Planning Department.
